UPDATE! One World Trade Center / Freedom Tower Construction progress taken 3/18/2011 (Part 2)
I continue around to the Hudson River side and take another pan shot of The Statue of Liberty, Jersey City, and back to the Freedom Tower. I intended to add this final shot to the first video and leave for the day, but when I was almost back to the PATH station I noticed a glass panel and a corner piece was installed since I got there. So I waited to see if they would install more glass. After waiting about 5 minutes I see a glass panel being pulled out from the tower and workers slowly inch it over to it's corner to be installed. Before the second panel goes up on the corner more steel is being lifted to the top for installation. Again I think the workers where on a roll today and this is the most work I have seen done while stopping by the WTC site. After another 5 minutes workers pull another glass panel out from the tower and again begin to inch it into position to be installed. There was a lady also looking up at the workers moving the glass and didn't know what it was so I said that they were installing a piece of glass. So a few minutes later workers finish moving the second piece in place. Then waiting another 5 minutes workers pull out the last corner piece to put in place next to the glass panel for installation. This piece took the longest to install but they got it to work. After that corner of glass is installed I leave for the day back to New Jersey. Thumbs Up, Comment, and Subscribe!
