Special construction Indian Cherokee Four is a recreation of the legendary Indian Four. This motorcycle was built around a Nissan 210 engine and Moto Guzzi 1998 transmission. Once the engine and the transmission were align the builder JC Ballinger from Colorado Springs, Colorado, a professional motorcycle custom builder, created the frame. All frame is made one piece out of very strong steel tubing welded by a licensed professional then powder coated and oven. The option for the 210 Nissan was based on dependability and accessibility for parts and costs. Moto Guzzi Five Speed transition is one of the strongest if not the strongest Guzzi transition with a very positive action and excellent gear-engine ratio. Final transmission is accomplished by the matching Moto Guzzi drive shaft so to keep consistency all the way from engine to the rear wheel. Front suspension is Harley Davidson, gas tank, front end back fenders are Indian, gages are Moto Guzzi. Front and rear brakes are Brembo system all around.
