The final steel beam of Rush University Medical Centers new hospital building was raised on December 1, 2009 to the top of the 14-story building under construction at the corner of Harrison and Ashland Avenue in Chicago. Employees were invited to sign the 14 foot beam and leave their mark on the new hospital building, which is scheduled to open in 2012.
